Earlier, Australia was reduced to 140 by Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi, who each took three wickets. The winner of the toss put hosts is Mohammed Rizwan.

Pakistan has won a bilateral ODI series in Australia for the first time in 22 years, and their bowlers’ thrilling fast bowling spurts have contributed to the victory.

AUS vs PAK Scorecard and Highlights: Relive how the Australia vs Pakistan match at the Perth Stadium played out.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Mohammad Rizwan after win

A special moment for me: the nation will be very happy today; we didn’t perform as per expectations in the last couple of years. I’m the captain only for the toss and presentations; everyone gives me suggestions on the field, the batting group, and the bowling group. All the credit to the bowlers. Australia in Australia isn’t easy; the conditions suit their style of playing, but the bowlers were outstanding. Also credit to the two openers; they made the chases easy. They (fans) don’t care a lot about the results, but the people back home are always behind us, and I want to dedicate this victory to them.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, Live Cricket Score: Australian captain Jos Inglis after game

Pretty disappointing to be honest, I think after the first three quarters of the first game, we’ve been totally outplayed, the batters just didn’t get the runs on the board in the last couple of games. Guys have their own way of batting, but it’s important to put together runs, stay out there and take the innings deep, and get the results. It was nice to be captaining in front of my home fans here in Perth, but the result was a disappointment

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Rauf after game

This means a lot to Pakistan, because we’ve been struggling a lot for the last few months,” he says. “We’re playing for the fans who come to the ground every time to support us.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Rauf’s series

Haris Rauf has been announced as Player Of the Match and Player Of the series

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: PAK beat AUS by 8 wickets to win series 2-1 in Perth

Babar Azam finishes off things in style to help Pakistan win by eight wickets. They win an ODI bilateral series for the first time in 22 years. They have adapted to conditions better than Australia, and they have played better cricket than Australia. The opening game was a close one; however, Australia just got over the line. A disappointing performance from Australia at home. We will be right back with the presentation.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Almost there

Lovely batting from Rizwan and Babar nothing out of the ordinary it is just them playing with soft hands, tapping, and running which is what was missing in the first innings. Pakistan is almost there. They are about to win their first ODI series since 2002. Good signs for them ahead of the Champions Trophy.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Sean Abbott’s day to forget

Abbott had a day to forget here. Being one of the main bowlers in the side the expectation was for him to pick a few wickets or at least bowl tightly however, nothing of that sort has happened. And one more thing is the wicket has become easier for batting as the day went on and early morning moisture dried a bit.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Important passage

Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam are in the middle for Pakistan and it is a very important pairing from the perspectives of both teams. If Australia can somehow manage to get these two here and now though there are only about 40 runs to get given the mercurial nature of the Pakistan line they might just panic.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Two wickets in quick succession

Lance Morris has picked both the openers now. First, it was Shafique who hit it straight back to the bowler and it was a lovely caught and bowl and then Ayub chopped onto the stumps. There are still about 60 runs to go but those couple of wickets might set in a bit of panic for Pakistan. Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam are in the middle for Australia

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: No penetration

Apart from batting another concerning thing for Australia has been their lack of penetration with the ball. In the last couple of games, they have looked toothless. Today there have been hardly any chances. Batters have been played every bowler with comfort. There has been hardly any urgency from the fielder to stop that single which has let the pressure ease as well.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Water break

The fielding from Australia too is getting pretty sloppy here. It seems like there is an understanding from their end also that this game is drifting past away from them. They are dropping chances and letting easy singles away. While it is hard to point flaws in bowling defending a low total captaincy from Jos Inglis has been pretty much defensive here.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Unlike AUS

This is unlike Australia. The captaincy from Jos Inglis has been reactive for some strange reason. He seems to be one of those captaincy who drags things and tactics over too long. Mind you, those things do work from time to time but the problem Australia has here is they are not defending a big total so a spell gone wrong here and there and the game will be done and dusted.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: 50-run partnership

Both Saim and Shafique have put on 50 runs here. It has been a great partnership from the openers. If Australia had any chance it was to pick up openers early however, it did not happen. They have not taken any unnecessary risks they have played each ball on its merit and rotated the strike nicely. Good old-fashioned ODI cricket this from Pakistan.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Cannot be leaky

Sean Abbott has come into the attack but he has been a bit expensive as well. Though bowlers do take a bit of time to settle into rhythm Australia given their current predicament cannot afford those big overs. They need wickets here do the hosts and they need to come quickly. The longer this partnership goes the more confident Pakistan will get.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Too much Stoinis

Australia still bowling Marcus Stoinis from one end is a bit head-scratching stuff here. Yes, he can swing the ball but Inglis does have better resources at his disposal. A couple of overs of experimentation is good but giving him three overs seems a little too much. Both Pakistan openers are having time to get themselves in here.

A couple of overs of experimentation is good but giving him three overs seems a little too much. Both Pakistan openers are having time to get themselves in here.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Good lenght but poor line

Marcus Stoinis has taken the new ball alongside Spencer Johnson here. It is a strange move from Australia. Yes, Stonis has taken the new ball from time to time in ODI cricket and he does posses the ability to swing the ball however, today they do not have much to defend and they need to attack the opposition right from ball one.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Welcome back!

Well, Australia needs to pick a couple of wickets early on at least to give themselves a chance. It is not going to be as straight forward as it was in Adelaide for Pakistan openers however, if they apply themselves it is true wickets and runs are there for the taking.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Shaheen Afridi during innings break

All the credit to the boys, they bowled really well. I was trying to swing the ball in and then take a couple of them away. [on how he is feeling after that hit to the thumb] That’s now two thumbs, not easy being a fast bowler. It was a long flight from Adelaide to Perth and it was nice flying business class as we the fast bowlers need rest.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: AUS 140 (50 overs) vs PAK in Perth

Well, that’s the end of the innings and it has been an exceptional bowling effort from Pakistan. It is a below-par total from Australia more than the collapse it is the nature of it yet again. It is the third game in a row when the Australian batting unit has shown no resistance whatsoever. It feels like Pakistan will win this series who would have seen this coming? Join us for the second half.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Dangle the carrot

It might not be a bad ploy for Pakistan to bring in a bit of spin here. The ball has lost a bit of shine. Yes there is bounce which is helping but Zampa and Abbott had a decent partnership and now Johnson and Abbott are looking good as well. It might be time for a bit of change in pace and dangle that carrot for a couple of overs.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Good hand by Abbott

Abott is playing a good hand here. Unless Connelly comes out to bat Australia have only eight wickets left. It will be interesting to see how much faith he will show in Johnson and Morris. Pakistan has not used the fifth bowler yet which Abbott would be very much aware of.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Adam Zampa departs

Adam Zampa departs, and it is the bounce again that does the trick. The batter tried to cut the ball and the point fielder took the catch. It is the extra bounce which did the damage for Australia yet again. Naseem Shah has picked up three wickets here. Australia throughout the innings just could not get in terms with the bounce of the surface here.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Attacking captaincy

Rizwan’s captaincy has been pretty attacking here. He has been looking to pick wickets through and through. Despite bowlers completing their first spells Rizwan did not go back to spinners but has brought back Shaheen Shah Afridi for his second spell. Rizwan can genuinely feel he can bundle out Australia here.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: No strike rotation

One concerning thing for Australia is though they are white-ball champions there don’t seem to be enough players coming from the ranks who seem to have the ability to rotate strike. Either they are looking to defend the ball or play their shots which is not coming through. If Australia has too do well in Champions Trophy it has to be Steven Smith and Marnus yet again.

Either they are looking to defend the ball or play their shots which is not coming through. If Australia has too do well in Champions Trophy it has to be Steven Smith and Marnus yet again.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Marcus Stoinis departs

Another one bites the dust. It is Marcus Stoinis the ball took off the good length and there was a slight seam moment away while Stoinis was looking to work the ball through the third-man region and got the outside edge to the keeper Mohammad Rizwan. Pakistan will genuinely belive that they can keep Australia under 150 here now.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Maxwell’s short ball woes

Glenn Maxwell’s horror show in the series continues. He tried to work a ball on the leg side and got the leading edge straight to the point fielder. It is not the short ball itself that is causing trouble to Maxwell even just digging a seed that it will come is causing him trouble. They need a partnership here does the Aussies make some competitive score on this wicket.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Copper Connelly walks back

It was a short delivery from Hasanain which Copper Connelly tried to pull and got hit on the finger. He was looked at and unfortunately for Australia, he walked back. Let’s hope he is fine and will come back to bat yet again. But for now, Glenn Maxwell has come in for Australia to the middle. Invariably the hosts are now five down.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Stoinis can but…?

Marcus Stoinis has come into the bat. Though he is the ideal man to deal with the current situation the challenge here is different and he is coming into the side after a long time. If he gets his eye in given the pace and bounce on the surface he will get some runs quickly away. However, for all that to happen the batters need to give themselves time.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Haris Rauf gets one

One positive thing about playing on surfaces that have as much bounce as Perth does is once you get your eye in a shot making gets slightly easy. However, having said that Pakistan has ensured that they kept keeping wickets. As we update Haris Rauf picks up his first wicket. Mathew Short who was looking good tried to pull one and was caught at square leg.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Haris Rauf into attack

Haris Rauf has come into the attack and he bowled well in the previous game with five wickets. Today he has a bit more help in terms of bounce and seam moment from the surface. However, the challenge for him is to keep sticking to the lines and lengths which he used last time instead of getting over excited and try too many things.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Another one bites the dust

Naseem Shah picks his second one. This is excellent captaincy from Rizwan. He changed ends of Naseem who bowled a bouncer which Jos Inglis tried to pull and got the top edge which the skipper himself took. Runs are coming but the wickets too are tumbling for Australia at a healthy rate.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Strong comeback from Pakistan

This is good for Pakistan after the opening game they have come back strong. They have been constantly exposing the flaws in Australian batting. Mind you today Australia does not have the likes of Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschange who are the main pillars which makes things slightly easier for Pakistan.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Shaheen Shah Afridi gets one

Well, that was another good length delivery from Shaheen and the ball took off. Hardie tried to take the bat away from the ball however, the ball moved slightly away and took the bottom edge to second slip. Australia are in all sorts of trouble here they need a partnership. Most importantly some with a competent technique can deal with the musing right now.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Naseem Shah gets one

Another failure here for McGurk. The ball from Naseem Shah was pitched on good length and the right-hander without any moment threw his bat at it and the ball took the outside edge to the keeper. The pitch is doing a bit and the Australian batters instead of looking to defend seem to be keen on driving everything.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Pitch the ball up

There is a green tinge on the wicket here. It is important that Pakistan bowlers despite the bounce pitch the ball early on with this new ball. Both McGurk and Mathew Short have been a little short on runs as well. Their foot moment might be tested especially given Shaheen Shah’s Afridi’s ability to swing the ball both ways.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd ODI, LIVE Cricket Score: Early start

The sun is shining bright here. It is early start here in Perth compared to the first two games it is 11:30 AM here in Perth. Hence expect a bit of moisture in the surface and a little bit of seam moment from the surface and hence it is the first game of the summer the wicket too will be fresh and there will some help to seamers.

Australia vs Pakistan, 3rd ODI: Captains at toss

Josh Inglis (Australia Captain): “It’s been a bit of a whirlwind last few days. Really excited and looking forward to this match. We would have bowled first as well. But don’t think it will change much during the course of the game and looking forward to doing well here. We have got five changes. Smith, Labuschagne, Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood miss out. That’s part one. Marcus Stoinis, Cooper Connolly, Sean Abbott, Lance Morris and Spencer Johnson come in. That’s part two.”

Mohammad Rizwan (Pakistan Captain): “We will bowl first again. We saw the stats of the pitch, we are trying to do well as we did in the last match. We are confident and we want to keep it going in this match. Haris Rauf knows the Australian conditions as he plays lot of BBL and he helps the other bowlers as well.”

Saim Ayub: School prodigy from Pakistan, trolled by former cricketers, inspired by Pant and now dominates Australia’s Starc, Cummins, and Zampa

oung Pakistani cricketer Saim Ayub has had his fair share of ups and downs in his career, facing both praise and criticism. Known for his aggressive batting style and flashy shots, he has also been criticized for his reckless approach.

After a string of low scores and controversial dismissals, Saim found himself in the crosshairs of former Pakistan cricketers, including Kamran Akmal. Akmal, a renowned wicket-keeper, publicly criticized Saim’s batting style, calling for his exclusion from the national team.

However, Saim didn’t let the criticism deter him. He sought guidance from his childhood coach, Mohammad Masroor, who instilled confidence in him by highlighting the example of Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant. Like Saim, Pant had also faced intense criticism for his aggressive style and occasional reckless shots. Despite the criticism, Pant has emerged as one of India’s most exciting talents.

Inspired by Pant’s journey, Saim continued to work hard and improve his game. He has since shown maturity and consistency, proving his critics wrong. His recent performances in international cricket have been impressive, showcasing his talent and potential.
