Who Says Liquidity is Everything?

I know most of you think the OTC market does not have success stories, but they do.  I followed one such company for a few years, and what feels like a lifetime ago, a company known as DFRH on the OTC exchange is a true success story.

The stock price ranged from $3.50 to $4.50 for as long as I watched it.  It rarely, if ever traded, and to a day trader, it lacked the luster required for them to buy the stock.  Investors seemingly overlooked the company, which never marketed themselves to my knowledge, so really because many of us don’t LOOK for good companies, this diamond in the rough was never discovered.

Then one day, I went to check on it and it was gone!  I of course Googled the name of the company and there she was on the BIG BOARDS, the NASDAQ CM.  I watched as the price hit a high of over $8.50 a share!  No longer a penny stock, but still a micro-cap jewel, which now trades daily.  Presently this little gem (in my opinion of course) trades in the $6.00 – $7.00 range.

But the more important thing is…..she made it to the big league.  BAGR even rang the closing bell of the NASDAQ on May 30th. Congratulations to what is now known as BAGR, Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. You’ve made it!
