On September 04, 2014, SWORDFISH FINANCIAL (OTCMKTS:SWRF) announced that Board of Directors of the company has appointed Ms. Susan Sjo as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors with an immediate effect.

SWORDFISH FINANCIAL (OTCMKTS:SWRF)’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Clark Ortiz commented that there is no better person than Ms. Sjo to lead the company as it is in the phase of transformation. She is a proven leader with business vision, hard-core financial skills and the ability to bring people together. As the company enters in its next chapter of growth, her experience and vision in the financial sector will help the company.

Earlier, Ms. Sjo was CIO and CEO at St. Esprit R&T LLC, which is a multi-assest management consultancy. For Sjo, Inc., (a global macro CTA and Hedge Fund) and Stack Capital, LLC, she served as Managing Director. From the Barat College of DePaul University, she completed her B.A. with Honors in International Studies and Minor in Economics. Back in 1988, Ms. Sjo received the Trader of the Year honor by Futures Magazine, and in 1992 she was named as Trader of the Year by Business Week. In 1993, Ms. Sjo got the Young Leaders Award Crain’s 40 Under 40 by Crain’s Chicago Business. Her former positions as Board of Director are: New York Board of Trade, Sjo, Inc., Manage Fund Association, FINEX Exchange, The New York Cotton Exchange,, Barat College and Sutain.
