Firefish, Announces Status of “Primary Olympiad” Enrollments

Firefish, Inc. (OTCBB: FRFS), a leading provider of educational products and services, announced on Friday August 30th, that enrollments in the Primary Olympiad were on track to exceed 10,000 registrations, with signups from over 100 schools.  Primary Olympiad is an annual competition in India, for school children, from grades first through fifth, in English, Math and Science.

“This year, we have launched a new competition in India – Middle School Olympiad – for children in grades 6 through 8, which, like the Primary Olympiad, will focus on English, Math and Science subjects. This new competition has been well received by schools” said Harsh Shetty, Firefish’s CEO in the company’s press release dated August 30th, 2013. 

Firefish creates learning opportunities by envisioning new products.  The company partners with government and private agencies.  The Primary Olympiadis in its fourth successful year.  Each competitions is based on specific subject; the English Olympiad focuses on spelling and grammar, the Math Olympiad focuses on arithmetic and geometry, and the Science Olympiad focuses on science and environmental studies. 

The students can receive awards, certificates and recognition; however, students also receive a detailed card that analyzes their performance.  The schools also get a score card that shows their performance compared to other schools.
