Eco Building Products (OTCMKTS:ECOB) Subsidiary Wood Protection Technologies Enters Into Exclusive Licensing And Distribution Agreement
Eco Building Products (OTCMKTS:ECOB) subsidiary Wood Protection Technologies announced that it will enter into an exclusive licensing and distribution agreement. It is getting into the agreement with a giant wood fencing manufacturer, a move that will help propel it to a higher level. As would have been expected, WPT is granting the rights to its fencing formulation, D-Fence™ which oversees the protection of wood fencing from mold, termites, fire and fungal decay.
The new agreement will be spelling out great progress for the company. The provider is at the moment looking forward to reach widespread distribution and penetration across most of the wood fencing channels and that is definitely expected to cover home centers and the pro distribution yards.
The shipping of the chemical products from the Company’s San Diego facilities may start in early April and the licensee’s production of fencing may be taking place a short while after that. The provider believes that the fencing protected by its proprietary fencing formulation, D-Fence™ will be made accessible from the inventory at a number of the “big box” home centers in the month of May and readily available in most of the markets in the U.S by the end of the year.
The President and CEO for Wood Protection Technologies, Tom Comery has termed this recent move as a breakout moment for both WPT and its parent company Eco Building Products. Moving the company from being a supplier of treated wood products to a developer and manufacturer of wood protection chemistry to a lot of the people that have been making follow up on the company’s progress depicts the decisions by the board in a positive light. The agreement has seen the company obtain a critically needed channel partner that it requires when it comes to the application as well as the bringing of the company’s chemistry to the fencing market.
The company has shown great excitement over the new relationship and sees the future has quite promising.© Copyright 2016 OTC News Magazine. All rights reserved.
